Good pace headed by Meisho Isle, Salice and Yamanin Historia, with Askcommentallezvou and Samidare Knights close by. ASKCOMMENTALLEZVOU (10) scored a commanding win at Hanshin over 2200m at his latest appearance on September 15. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent fresh. YAMANIN HISTORIA (3) finished second, beaten 0.8 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 2400m at Kyoto after he was prominent at the corner. Overdue for a win. Improver with winning prospects. HO O RAVEN (6) did little and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 2000m at Niigata last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Kyoto the run before. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. MEISHO ISLE (1) ran a better race last start, finishing 2.5 lengths away in fifth over 2000m at Fukushima. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
