Not expecting them to go too hard. PARMENIDES (6) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 1.75 lengths away in third over 2000m at this track when he was always up in the leading division. Looks well placed, so expect another big run. INVENTION (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and less than a length from the winner over 1500m at Kawasaki. Meets some better types this time, but another big run is on the cards. YAMABUKI (1) was in contention on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 2000m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. He can go one better here. MANIK (11) has been trying to win a race for some time, and in this field, she could be one to include in all combinations to be safe.
