That added to a series of top-two finishes that includes a string of wins here. Can take advantage of a good draw to go close. HAKUSAN PIONEER (7) produced another good effort last start when second over this distance at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Has a strong record at this course, scoring at 10 of 19 starts. Bold showing expected. HO O JULEP (4) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish third over 1700m at this track. Can feature again. TOKAI ETOILE (5) has switched yards since last seen and could measure up here.
