Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two placings. Tatsuya Nakajima who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Right in this. FESTIVE KAREN (6) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.5 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Finds another suitable race and can figure in the finish. BREAK NECK (5) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fourth over 1400m at this track. One of the main contenders. STAR KANAZAWA (2) failed to live up to expectations over 1500m at this track last time out when in the market. That followed a good second the run before. Well placed and can atone.
