Emerging Role to take charge ahead of Danon Glister at a strong tempo. EMERGING ROLE (11) showed good early speed over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt last time and kept going to score by a neck. Should be prominent in running again despite the awkward gate. Sure to take some beating. MISTERIOSO (1) gave away a start then stormed home to win over 1700m at this track last time out. Has a good record here at this journey, including two wins. Watch for him late again. DIEU DU VIN (8) showed good early speed last start before being run down and finishing fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over this journey in a Listed Race at Fukushima Dirt. Will find this much easier. One of the main contenders. DANON GLISTER (2) was sent out at $40.60 last time but ran above expectations and won over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Yet to win at the distance but has recorded two minor placings from three tries. Key contender. SUNRISE RAPPORT (4) disappointed last start after just missing over this trip the run before. Can bounce back.
