CALLAGHAN TESORO (9) missed the placings last start at this track and trip but was close up, beaten only 0.8 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the bend. Best figures measure up nicely. Big chance. PEDUNCLE ARCH (7) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1400m at this track after being prominent from the outset. Should park just off the speed. Could deliver here. NEW RETRO (8) performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only half a length from the winner. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. H N BUMPY (2) did a great job to score by one length over today's course and distance last start in a far better effort. Can be there at the finish again.
