Expecting Montana Bay to take up the running with Los Santos and Rebel Rouser close at hand. REGAL WINGS (3) has raced his way into form over a mile on wet tracks recently, including a last start third as the favourite at Pukekohe nearly a fortnight ago. His good track efforts were last season, and he is a lot stronger now. On top for us. BHARNSTORM (1) was only beaten by a nose in the same race as the top pick when finishing runner-up. He has a good gate, and a better surface should not be a problem. He can go one better here. WHY DADDY (9) was fourth against some of these last start, and may go back early on this time from his wide draw. If the tempo is genuine, then he can figure in the top 3. LOS SANTOS (8) has steadily improved this season and was game in defeat after leading up a better field at Ellerslie a week ago. Stick with him. Can win. SUGGESTED PLAY: Los Santos each-way in an even contest.
