Off the low draw the speedy Grand Stardom should lead at a genuine tempo. THE DAILY PLANET (10) resumed with a solid run for third at Warrnambool 15 days ago on a heavy track and is bred to improve further with more racing. He could be already looking for more ground but can still win a race like this. MALE MODEL (3) was runner-up when resuming at Bendigo before finishing fifth at Geelong last time out after racing greenly in the running. He is a 5-year-old gelding having just his fourth start and as soon as he figures it all out, he will win a race at short notice. OUR GIRL BRITNEY (6) was ridden closer to the pace than usual last time out at Sandown-Hillside a month ago and failed to finish her run off as expected. She will find this assignment a lot easier and should be hard to hold out. PIGLET (7) was runner-up in her last 3 starts before having a spell and is fresh up here with a Stawell trial last month under her belt. A wide gate is no help but she can still get a slice of the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Our Girl Britney each-way.
