Kept up to the mark with a recent trial placing and no excuses from the good gate. Go close. HUDSON'S LENNY (2) is a 12-start maiden who gives the impression the extra trip will suit. Maps to get the right run and finds a fairly weak maiden. MAX 'O' MAX (3) fourth up for this and drops in weight and trip after finishing a plugging fourth at Grafton at latest. Stays in the mix.
