Good speed anticipated with Howgoodisvegas, Dubbo Wanderer and Russley Crown keen to take up the running. RUSSLEY CROWN (3) made light work of them at Scone last start when far too good on-speed over 1300m. Not sure he beat much, but the time was fast and he looks well treated at the weights. No favours with the draw but still shapes as the hardest to beat. ZARU (6) wasn't given the best steer last start and should be right at his peak third up. Still just the sole win from 22 starts, but the talent looks to be there. FORTYFIVE PARKLANE (5) wasn't beaten far behind Molly Nails last start and is capable on best form. McGuren makes the trip to Sydney to ride which is a nice push. DUBBO WANDERER (2) won well fresh and while this is much harder, he is only lightly raced and can take that next step. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Russley Crown.
