Race 1 850m
SHIKI (1) is back after a break of three months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at his latest appearance over 1200m at Morioka Dirt. Well drawn and happy to have him on top. G T WARAWARA (7) improved last start but found a couple better over 1300m at this track, sticking on after being in the firing line on the corner. Expect another big run. KITANO LUCIR (2) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fifth. Draws well and could show more third up. ANGELITE (4) is another that will be improved by recent racing and could get into the finish this time. |

Race 2 1300m
MIENO SIRIUS (6) resumes after racing at JRA level last time in. Finished sixth over 2000m at Nakayama at his most recent appearance on September 6. Has switched to the Kazumune Ito stable. Well placed at this level so is a strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. ALPHA SIRIUS (5) has missed the placings in both starts this time but the fitness is building. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. BLACK BEAT (4) wound up strongly only to just miss last start over 1200m at Monbetsu. May prove hard to beat in this suitable race. FUJISAN YENYASU (3) has yet to place this time in but draws well and will be fitter so looking for better. |

GRAND CRU (10) was in the betting and performed well last start to finish third at this course and distance after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can break through this time. MEISHO LILIUM (4) hasn't been too far off the placings in two outings since a 2.5L second at Morioka Dirt. Has won at this venue before. Major player. WIND MORE (8) is finding the breakthrough elusive and while down the track in the last two appearances he was solid in fourth three back. Can feature if at his best. ROBARIA STAGE (3) draws well so is capable of featuring more prominently. |

Race 5 1300m

Race 6 1400m
SHIRAKAMI IMPULSE (1) debuted with a win two runs ago. Good effort last time out when prominent at the bend before winding up in second over 1600m at Morioka Dirt, beaten a neck. Has his share of talent and gets the inside draw. Hard to beat. LOVE CORAGEM (5) started at $5.60 last time and ran below expectations but was going well prior with a win and two placings from the previous three runs. This doesn't look as hard so he can find the winners' list. LOVE ME CANNES (6) was sixth at $2.40 last start but was going well prior. Should be poised just off the lead. Winning claims on best figures. MALLEOLUS (8) recorded a string of top-three finishes before the latest attempt and won the only time he raced here. |

Expected to go well. MAGNIFIQUE BRILLER (1) finished 3 lengths back in fifth at this course and distance last time out after a gutsy win two runs back. TAKAMAKI SIX (10) kicked off her career with back-to-back seconds before delivering last time, showing good pace before going on to score by 1.8 lengths last time out over this distance at Morioka Dirt. Meeting a tougher field but has plenty of upside. J L BITT (2) finished sixth over 1600m at Morioka Dirt last time out after a gutsy win two runs back. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Strikes at 50 per cent here and draws well. ITAZURA VEGA (4) improved last start but found one better over 1600m at this track. Can be in the finish again. REIMEINO NOROSHI (6) lines up for the first time since September 28 when placed here. Looking to emulate her win at Morioka Dirt to kick off the last campaign. Has to be respected. |

Race 10 1400m
KAUNEUS (4) kicked off the campaign with back-to-back placings then went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by half a length over 1200m at Morioka Dirt. Drawn to take a nice trail just off the speed. Can go on with it. SUN DUBUQUE (10) was well fancied when resuming last start but disappointed. Better than that and should be improved. Rei Iwamoto who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Worth another chance. KUNG FU DANCE (1) finished fifth last start at this track but won the other two times she raced here. Should get every chance from this draw. TOA ANELA (6) improved last start to place at this course and distance. Capable of featuring prominently. |

Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Can break through. MAROON TRICK (11) is another ready to win after a string of placings. Just missed last time, beaten a neck into second over this trip at Morioka Dirt. Generally takes a sit but the draw makes it tricky. With luck could strike. Yuri Takahashi gets the best out of this six-year-old entire. Solid prospects. EARTH HOUR (2) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 3 lengths away in second. Go well. |
