OWN THE DREAM 2026 MAIDEN 1000m
Expecting Frostland to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. SUNSET SESSION (1) was very good on debut at Pinjarra down the straight, finishing in 0.7L off the winner when debuting in Saturday company. He's since trialled nicely coming in at Belmont and he maps for a lovely run from the inside draw. Ticks plenty of boxes and can resume on a winning note. TENNESSEE SPIRIT (7) was heavily backed on debut when bumping into a smart one before going back last time out and never really looking likely. Back to 1000m now, but where she gets to in the run could be an issue. No doubt she has class though and rates highly on what she's done thus far. WHY SHE STAYED (6) just missed over 1200m here last start and has to be included. FROSTLAND (10) will find this easier than her debut effort and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Sunset Session in the opener. |

CUPRUM DISTILLERY - SOUTH WEST STORMY MAIDEN 1695m
Plenty of runners but a dawdling affair is on the cards. AWESOME FORCE (7) flew home from a long way back first-up at Belmont over 1300m and clocked some very good splits there. Straight out to 1695m now looks a good move and he maps to sit much closer than he did fresh. Looks a nice type on the up and he makes plenty of appeal. LOVE OF FAR FA (11) comes through a hot form race last start over 1675m here where she flashed late to finish 0.8L away. Three winners have come out of that race since and Faithfull hops on board now. Knocking on the door and should get her chance. REGAL BOY (4) is drawn a little sticky, but finished off strongly over this course and distance a fortnight ago. He should be fitter again third-up now and with further improvement expected, he can make his presence felt again. SIN CITY BOY (8) comes through the same race as Regal Boy and has claims third-up. KAMBULA (10) should appreciate the mile trip on debut and is worth thought on debut. SUGGESTED PLAY: Awesome Force can get the job done. |

BUNBURY VOLKSWAGEN MAIDEN 1400m
A solid tempo is anticipated with the debutants potentially serving it up to Fly Away Flirt and Bit Tired Actually who are expected to take up the running. BIT TIRED ACTUALLY (10) just missed fresh but showed she was up to this level last start when flying home over this track and trip. Nottle claiming 3kgs will see her with no weight on her back and the filly is trending the right way. Strikes a winnable race here. LORD MOMO (5) is on debut for the Vahala stable following a 0.4L defeat in a recent trial at Belmont. He moved well there over 1200m and his trip fresh looks ideal. Looks to have some class about him and can play a leading role on debut. MAGIC CARATS (3) flew home first-up and looks beautifully placed out in trip now. Can put his best foot forward. SAVIENNE (12) can turn in a bold debut out to 1400m on debut. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Bit Tired Actually. |

BAES - BARRY ALLEN ELECTRICAL SERVICES MAIDEN 1200m
Bulletin Beau to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. OFFSHORE (9) has just missed in her last two starts prior to the break, finishing 0.3L off the winner as favourite down the Pinjarra straight. She looked good in her recent trial and she has the early speed to offset the sticky gate. Ticks plenty of boxes and looks poised to strike on resumption. BULLETIN BEAU (2) comes here first-up without a trial after finishing 2.9L away in his only run last campaign. His profile suggests he's got issues, but he's shown that he's capable of winning race when he's right. Can be right in the finish on his return. CHANTILLY GIRL (12) folded up when resuming in stronger company at this track a fortnight ago, finishing 3.5L away. Back to maiden grade now and she'll strip fitter for that effort. Can play a leading role. ROYAL GUARDIAN (13) was sound on debut at York when closing strongly. Not out of this from a good draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Offshore looks the one to beat. |

SWAN DRAUGHT HANDICAP 1000m
Good pace from Blue Can Talk, Elsa's Pride and Royal Defense. MANTUA (1) missed over this course and distance last time out when flying gone from the rear of the field. He may be able to sit a little closer from the draw today and the figure he put up last start rates highly among this field. Knocking on the door of a drought breaking win. LEMMOR (5) was fresh last start at this track and trip when beaten 2.6L and she should land in a very good spot from the barrier. Should be at her peak fitness now and this looks a suitable race for her to shed the maiden tag. BLUE CAN TALK (3) just missed here fresh in a CL5 before a disappointing performance most recently in this grade. She can tend to dip second-up though and usually bounces back third-up into the campaign. Has the speed to cross from out wide and can turn in a bold performance. CLASSIC RULER (8) can play a role on resumption. TROPICAL SUN (6) is not out of this on recent efforts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mantua gets the nod. |

TABTOUCH - HAVE YOU GOT THE TOUCH HANDICAP 1400m
Good pace headed by Space Ace, God's Grin and River Angel, with Kidding Me and Disco Kicks close by. TAKE A LEAF (10) finished off strongly to pick up the victory at this track and trip a fortnight ago, running away to win by 1.2L. Faithfull replaces the apprentice hoop and it wouldn't surprise to see her take closer order from an inside barrier. Looks a nice type on the rise and can continue her winning ways. KIDDING ME (8) got over the top to score in a photo finish at Geraldton last time out, breaking her maiden. This is tougher, but she turned in a good figure there and the rise in trip looks to suit. Can lob in a handy position and bring up back-to-back wins. GOD'S GRIN (7) is another who scored in a photo finish, jumping a $1.45 favourite and knocking over the maiden. Has the speed to roll forward from a tricky barrier and can play a leading role if she can hold her form. RIVER ANGEL (6) is better than we saw last time out and can improve today out in distance. JAZALOT (2) can improve second-up and out in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Take A Leaf can go back-to-back. |

MGIB HANDICAP 1200m
Solid tempo with Three Grand leading from Universal Hotness and Hit The Jackpot. UNIVERSAL HOTNESS (6) stuck on well over 1000m first-up and landed there without a trial coming in. Sure to be fitter for that performance and out to 1200m now looks a good move. He hasn't won in a while, but he's knocking on the door of a drought breaking win and this looks a grand opportunity. LENIENCY (1) will be fitter for a recent trial coming in and boasts a solid fresh record. Turner knows the gelding well and he can land in a good spot from the barrier. Ticks a few boxes today and appears the main danger. THREE GRAND (4) comes here on the fresh side after a narrow win over this track and trip 69 days ago. Not been sighted since then, though she has the speed to roll across from out wide and she rates highly on that effort. Will be hard to run down. RUN PATTIE RUN (5) is better than we saw fresh and can improve. IMAPAGETHREE GIRL (7) looks ready to fire first-up judging by her recent trial. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Universal Hotness in the last. |
