NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:50 CECIL TAYLOR MEMORIAL COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
Dandeelion Wishes and Markwell Music look to take it up. BIRDY GIRL (3) finished in the minor money at five of her six starts and won't find an easier contest to shed her Maiden status. Launched late from back in the field when third over 1250m at Kempsey. No excuses today. MESS AROUND (11) three-year-old filly by Outreach from Suggest on debut for the Owen stable. Shown ability in the two trials and capable of taking this out. DANDEELION WISHES (6) gripped on late at the big odds when a sound second over 1005m at Taree. Deep into the prep and stays in the contest. BIG STEPPA (2) failed to fire in two career starts and resumes with leading apprentice booked. Didn't do much in the two trials and place claims look best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Birdy Girl and Mess Around can fight it out.
2 02:25 KBI DESIGNS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1300m
Expecting Call Me Basil to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. CALL ME BASIL (1) returned for his second campaign with a handy on-pace third over 1258m at Taree in a Super Maiden. Senior rider hops on and doesn't have to improve much to win this. COSMORA (7) thereabouts on the provincial circuit and can play a leading role at this level. Can get cover from the draw and shapes as a key chance. NETT'S GIRL (3) excellent debut when coming from near last on the turn for a narrow second over 1400m at Taree on October 17. Kept up to the mark with a 1005m trial placing and expected to go close. METAL MAGIC second run back after a let-up. Closed strongly with the 59kg when a narrow second over 1400m at Bathurst. Races best with his runs spaced and capable of taking this out.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Call Me Basil will go close.
3 03:00 FORSTER BOWLING CLUB CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 1600m
Looks to be plenty of pace with The Big Ticket and Think I'm Irish battling for the lead. NAVY BUOY (3) produced a good set of figures at latest when fourth over 1500m at Newcastle. Has the upside to go on with it now. Will take holding out today. THINK I'M IRISH (6) looks close to a win at her fifth start for the new stable. Collared late when third over 1750m at Muswellbrook. Stays in the calculations. CALEDONIAN (1) hasn't looked likely this time in work, the latest offering a sixth over 1400m at Grafton. Blinkers go on and fitter in a suitable race gets his chance. BOLD SPLENDOR (4) hasn't won for a while, but is usually thereabouts. Fitter second up and worth throwing in exotics.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Navy Buoy will take stopping.
4 03:35 CLUB FORSTER BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 2100m
Solid tempo with Zartamay leading from Seething Chuck and Purple Kitty. STOCK ROAD (9) fourth-up today and expecting a better showing in this weaker race. Back in trip when a plugging fifth over 1600m at Wyong. Drops in weight and D-Day is looming. PURPLE KITTY (4) has gone to a new level this time in with the two wins from his last three starts. Jumps in trip after he demolished his rivals over 1408m at Taree. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. BUMP'N'RUN (6) closed off nicely when beaten 0.8 lengths last time at Taree. Can contest for a place. MISSION BRAVO (1) broke a drought when he scored last start over 2012m at Taree. Well placed to go back-to-back.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 9,4,6,1.
5 04:10 TUNCURRY BEACH BOWLING CLUB BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1200m
Genuine tempo from Grande Bellezza leading Whispering Rupert. OH DEER (7) has come back much stronger this campaign and looks well placed today. Ran on late when a game third over 1350m at Wyong. Can sit off this lot and pick them up effortlessly with the senior rider booked. LISTINS LASS (1) just over a month between runs when a respectable sixth over 1250m at Newcastle in a BM64 behind Oui Oui Oui. Back in grade and will be doing her best work late. PRORATA (3) failed to stretch out on the firm surface when a battling twelfth over this journey at Kembla Grange. Will find his easier and stays in the mix. OUR LADY STARDUST (9) has a poor win record, and the tongue-tie goes on. Gets in light with the claim and can sneak into the minor money.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Oh Deer looks too classy for this lot.
6 04:50 SOLARIS GOLDEN MILE BENCHMARK 82 HANDICAP 1600m
Moderate tempo with Wealthy Investor leading the way. REBEL'S EDGE (3) tough old gelding who turned in a strong performance first-up at Kempsey, then disappointed when sixth over 1400m at Newcastle. Proven at this distance and he gets map favours. Each way. DANCE DANCE DANCE (10) was a month between runs when back in grade and trip for a plugging fifth over 1400m at Newcastle. Fitter now and expecting more over the mile. WEALTHY INVESTOR (4) up to his preferred trip second-up when rolled forward for a sound third in the small field over 1600m at Gosford. Sure to be around the money. CHANGE THE DATE (8) starting to hit his straps and a win looks imminent. Gripped on late when third over 1620m at Grafton in a BM74. Good enough to find winning form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,10,4,8.
7 05:30 SAILS ACCOMMODATION COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1000m
Wine Time, Cool Fizz and Brazen Brando all possess good speed. COOL FIZZ (1) working herself into form and near her top now third-up. Sat on the fast tempo when a narrow second over 1005m at Taree. Placed at this track and senior rider hops on. YES YES BOSS (8) showed good early speed before folding up in the straight when fourth over 1000m at Wellington. Will push forward again and assess on earlier runs. Each way. NIKODY'S DIEGO (9) surprised at the big odds when up in trip for a game on-pace second over 1258m at Taree. Well placed from the gate and expected to take a hand in the finish. INVINCIBLE WHIP (3) capable on his day and the tongue-tie comes off for this. Goes well at the trip and arrives here in peak condition.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Cool Fizz finds a winnable contest.
