BETELGEUSE (6) finished midfield at her first run back from a spell last start, beaten 6 lengths over 1500m at Urawa when well in the market. Fitter and one of the main contenders. NOT IN THE EYE (7) was well-fancied when resuming last start but could only manage tenth over 1200m at this track. Has never missed the frame second up. Should be much improved. |

Finds an easier assignment and can rediscover winning form. ANOTHER MOON (1) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last start over 1500m at this track after a good first-up win here. Nicely placed to bounce right back. BIJOUX MEFA'A (6) ran a nice race last time out over 1500m at this track, finishing third. Sure to be in the mix. |

Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to bounce back. MIAMI (6) ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 1500m at Kawasaki. Looks well placed so expect another big run this time. OVAL BOUQUET (5) has strung together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on September 30 over 1200m when she scored by 2 lengths. Winning rider Tatsuya Yamaguchi retains the mount. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she can win again. I'LL PROTECT (3) was quickly into stride from the rails draw last start but emptied late to finish eighth over 1400m at Kawasaki. Has the ability to make his mark. |
