PIPPIE POMAR (10) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a third over 860m at Gatton when she was in the firing line all the way. Likely improver with strong prospects. MISHANI HERCULES (2) was in contention on the turn and finished second last time over 800m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run. GOING MY WAY (9) draws the inside marble and may run a race while fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 3,10,2,9. |

BAVARIAN LADY (5) turned in an eye-catching run over 1890m at Toowoomba last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish second. The winkers are removed now and looks a top chance in this. DROP THE PILOT (3) has been in the placings in his past two starts, finishing third over 1600m at Gatton last time out. Leading player on recent runs. SUPER FAIR (8) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 1890m at Toowoomba. Likely improver with top-three prospects. CHANGE THE DEEL (2) is usually thereabouts and looks one for the exotics players. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bavarian Lady to break through. |

Too Darn Smart and Claw Machine can be prominent. Former Victorian galloper ATTACK FORCE (1) finished second at Sale two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1980m at Tatura, finishing 22 lengths back in seventh. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is perfectly placed to score. THE IMMORTALS (6) improved last start to finish third over 1500m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. CLAW MACHINE (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Sunshine Coast, beaten 8 lengths into eighth after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. TOO DARN SMART (8) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found a forward position then knocked up in the straight to finish eighth over 1200m at Sunshine Coast. Can feature in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Attack Force to shed the maiden tag. |

SUPER QUICK (6) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 2.25 lengths away in second over 1400m at Gatton when he was in the firing line all the way. Likely improver with strong prospects. GALWAY HUSSLER (2) pushed forward when resuming last time and boxed on to finish 5 lengths away in third over 1100m at Toowoomba. Should park just off the speed despite a difficult draw. Has her share of ability and is hard to beat in this suitable race. AMENOPHIS (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1400m at Stanthorpe. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. DEPTH CHARGE (1) next best with the 3kg claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Super Quick to go one better. |

They look to roll along early with Bee Exact and Clearly George leading the charge. ALPINE RAIDER (7) ran a nice race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2 lengths over 1000m at Toowoomba. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. BEE EXACT (4) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten a long neck, over 1350m at Ipswich. Will push forward and is among the chances. SONIC ARROW (14) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but just found a couple better over 1000m at Dalby, beaten 3.5 lengths. Capable of featuring prominently. RESOLUTE LADY (9) rounds out the selections in an open affair. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Alpine Raider. |

Expecting a strong tempo with Desert Legend, Quality Miss and Life Of Tree going forward ahead of Harcasion and Battlespace. In fine form and worth following up. LIFE OF TREE (1) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1540m at Gold Coast Poly, scoring by a head. The well-related WEST CORK (2) (half to G1 winner Qafila) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, last start over 1310m at Lismore. Must be included among the main hopes. SUMMER STAR (11) turned in a better run last time at the second run back to finish third over 1577m at Wondai. Well placed and can figure in the finish again. OAKFIELD EAGLE (8) next in line despite the wide draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Half Moon Roo for the win. |
