ICONIC WINTER (1) hasn't been far away placing 3/6 so far but was a little disappointing as a heavily bet favourite last time. Leading rider goes on and looks well placed here. Gets chance to atone. OCEAN FLAME (4) was beaten a nose here last time and given a let-up since. Top chance if runs to latest. PRICELESS TREASURE (5) returned from a long break over 1300m here with a eye-catching second. Kept fresh again since and looks a leading player again. FIVE STAR MAGIC (6) wasn't far off maiden success before a very long break. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish. |

ENCHANTING CHOICE (2) was in sparkling form last time in, winning all three starts. The latest was here at the trip when turning in a career best figure. Has won fresh and will go close on latest effort. SPLICETHEMAINBRACE (1) is a talented type resuming. Goes well at both the course and the distance and has won fresh. Expected to measure up. MONTELENA (4) has been thereabouts without winning, the latest fourth here beaten less than two lengths. Overdue and gets chance. UNCONQUERABLE LADY (5) is also close to a win. Has fitness and after just missing latest is right in this. |

Moderate maiden where CLIFFIE CLAVIN (3) looks very hard to beat. Building to a win and just missed latest over 1400m here on the turf. Senior rider goes on from the inside drawn and gets chance to break through. GREY WARRIOR (5) had a wide gate last time but ran well when a solid fifth over this journey on the turf here. Drawn much better and can improve. RED LHASA (8) placed two back then allowed to drop right out last time when beaten a long way. Change of rider and worth another chance. BOMBER BAY (2) has had a lot of chances but worth noting has placed 3/3 this course and distance. Can feature on best form. |

TERMINAL VELOCITY (1) has been building to a maiden win in three runs in, the latest placing over 1800m. Gets the extra trip now and leading rider goes aboard. GLOBAL SCENE (2) was most disappointing last time but gets a much better draw this time. Fitter and has placed 2/3 when second-up. Can atone. GOLDEN CROC (5)has been knocking on the door with some recent placings and looks well placed over the longer trip for the first time. WELSH STARLET (4) was beaten comfortably last start but is capable of better with the light weight. |

EPIKLEROS (2) is a progressive mare who was in career best form before a spell, winning last two including the latest in open class. Yet to fire fresh but this trip suits and returns in easier. Expected to go well. FLIGHT DISPLAY (1) also went to the paddock a winner, scoring this course and distance. Has won fresh and bold showing likely. ONE RELIGION (5) has been building to a win, the latest a narrow third over 1800m. Has the fitness edge and should be in the finish. HONORABLE MEMBER (7) has been in the minor money the last five runs and deserves to break through. |

Very competitive. WINTER EMERALDS (4) was an easy winner two back then not far away in open grade last time. Meets the winner better at the weights and worth another chance. LAGUNA VERDE (3) resumed with a good placing over a mile and has won second-up. Leading rider goes aboard and has two wins already on the gelding. GREEN MANDARIN (2) was a strong winner in higher grade last time and beat some of these. Has more weight this time and a much tougher draw to overcome. But going well and worth following up. ONE SCOTCH (7) is close to a win and has placed 2/2 course and distance. Must be respected. |

CHERRY OH BABY (2) is an honest mare finally off the mark with a maiden win before a break. Resumed in tougher and wasn't disgraced but better placed here and expected to improve sharply. SPOIL YOURSELF (4) charged home to score last time. The claim helps offset the big weight and will be tough to stop again. MARSHMALLOW (1) on the other hand is a free running type freshened since a moderate run last time. Inside draw and will take running down. ALADO'S HABIT (3) resumes and is a fresh-up winner. Looks a definite contender of best figures. |

THE ROARING ROCK (5) was a winner two back then a moderate fourth last time in a run well off best. Has good speed and expected to take catching. TEEREX (12) just missed two back then wasn't far away latest. Going well and can find winning form again. LUCKY SPIRIT (3) was placed before a spell in open class. Resumes in easier and does go well the course and distance. RAVILIOUS (4) saluted two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when second over 1000m at Fairview, beaten a nose. Expect a better run this time. |
