Amardante, Opera Blu and Extra Shot can all zip along early. AMARDANTE led and was beaten less than 2L when resuming but was impeded late so should have finished closer. She was an Ipswich winner second up last campaign so she could improve today. Plenty of chances in the last. ALPINE DRAGON has been getting closer and closer with every run. He showed he can handle the weight last start. Just needs to get in from this draw. AMARDANTE goes very fast and leads every start. She will be there for a very long way. OPERA BLU has a huge weight to carry but loves racing here with two wins. He handles all type of ground. EXTRA SHOT will get a run just in behind them. He is a bit up and down though. CLASSIC DOUBLE is one to watch resuming. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tricky race - playing the exotics around 11, 3, 8, 1 and 2.
