Expect them to set a very fast tempo over the 1050m dash. This will be run at a cracking pace as the likes of Metis, Comic Story and Rosinca lock horns. COMIC STORY returned after a year off the scene with a very impressive 2nd last time out over this course and distance. Speedy gelding who only needs to show a little improvement on that run to be going one better. A big watch on KID FLASH who is a new addition to the Edmonds stable from Tony McEvoy. Goes well fresh and has a Saturday win in Adelaide to his credit over this trip. Drawn well so everything points to a bright debut for the stable. The lightly raced mare LA VIDA LOCA is down in grade and not without a chance at her fourth run back from a spell. The in-form METIS is also in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kid Flash for the win.
