Saracentinal, Grey Drama, Another Rush and Dalrada are amongst those who are capable of injecting solid early pace. ATTAINMENT placed on resuming at this course and distance 13 days ago, only beaten by three quarters of a length. The gelding will have taken benefit from that outing and has won second up in the past. While something of a bridesmaid, this looks a nice race for him. MAN OF PEACE drops back from a Highway Handicap where he folded in attempting to make all over this trip. He is better suited back amongst this opposition and his prior form was solid. MAN OF PEACE can cross over and lead and followed a Canberra 3U placing with an okay effort in a Highway Handicap at Randwick when fading in the straight. This suits better and he can bounce back. ATTAINMENT will also come over to the speed and placed twice in the city before a near miss here FU as a hot favourite. Gets a 3kg claim but will need a touch of luck. NIGHTS ON FIRE will be improved FU off two city runs and can win this at best. The claim assists. BRING A SECRET can use the 3 gate but continues to disappoint. Gets a 4kg claim and is up to this if everything clicks. VIRGO LASS is speedy and can’t be dismissed up in trip off the paint. The yard fires here. A good race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Straight out Attainment. He was good on resuming.
