Treasure Island has led in recent times and looks the most likely to take up the lead in this. Not sure DUKE DE VEGA will line up here but he rates to win if he does. Came from mid to win well at Doomben in Maidens the first run since leaving the Waller stable. Can go on with it. HALLS CREEK was slow off and hit the line to place here 7 days ago and that reads well. Draws to sit handy and keeps the claim. SUNNY FAME won his Maiden easily here 2U and had been threatening. In good hands and can go on with it. THERMAL UNIT ran favourite this venue last start and didn’t have the best of it. Griffin goes on and the gelding can make the frame. SUGGESTED PLAY: Duke De Vega for the win.
