Easily the highlight of the afternoon with the renewal of the Listed Birthday Stakes. Speed anticipated from Vengabus, Scales Of Justice and possibly Wink And A Nod from the wide draw. WINK AND A NOD failed to see out the trip in the Strickland Stakes last start but no question she is well placed here on best form. Has won 4/7 first up and possesses a fantastic record at this C&D. The Wizard links aboard for the first time and she looks to set a decent standard. Expect Great Shot and Vengabus to head towards the lead, King Of The Palace and Lite'n In My Veins shouldn't be too far away. Very strong race. SCALES OF JUSTICE is a promising galloper facing his biggest test but he's trialled impressively and looks a horse on the way to better things. Go close. LITE'N IN MY VEINS was finishing strongly to just fail when resuming and should be fitter here. Hard to beat again. GREAT SHOT showed a heap of potential last prep and while he'll be better over a bit more ground he can give a good sight fresh. Ideal Image and Wink And A Nod are also very good chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Very tricky race and looking to play the exotics numbers: 2,3,10,1,4.
