Ujjayyi, Excelleration and Santuzza will all be working forward and setting a solid early tempo. PRINCESS RIHANNA couldn't get a run when she needed in the Karaka Million however still managed to run fourth. This is easier and with a bit more luck in running, she should take some holding out. GOLD FEVER was dropped in grade last start and thrived, taking out a 1200m event at Te Rapa. Will have taken confidence from the run. Lots of pace and pressure in this G2 juvenile fillies event, as there should be at this level. More than half this field have not won a race surprisingly and just one runner only has saluted twice. The debut win at 10000m by UJJAYYI saw a demonstration of pace and a secondary surge the run home that only talented types possess. Can remain unbeaten as drawn the ace again. The local PRINCESS RIHANNA probably should have placed last start in the Karaka Millions as she got held up a key moment the run home. Won her only left-handed outing easily. Threat. GOLD FEVER has speed and has been G3 placed so can counter an awkward barrier. Excelleration was a tad disappointing last start when a distant third but it may in fact show just how good the winner really is. First race left-handed. Santuzza is thriving and won a trial easily earlier this month. Florence Jean may not be just a speedster and show that extra lift of quality today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Straight out Princess Rihanna off that excellent Karaka Millions effort.
