Plenty of these can take up handy positions so there should be pressure for spots early. From out wide Liberty's Choice and Pepperano might opt to push right on and cross. PEPPERANO is well set up with that being the case. Both runs this time in have been terrific. Second in both of them and has now set a perfect platform into this race. The one to beat. Big field is sure to generate plenty of speed and Pepperano along with Henryvonhufeisen look the most likely to vie for the lead. PEPPERANO has returned to racing well off a long break, running a narrow second in both outings this time in. Freshened after hitting the line well over 1200m at this course last start and the step up to 1350m will suit. Goes on top ahead of BECKONING LIGHT who won three starts back and comes into this off a good run for third at Eagle Farm after being wide throughout. Ticks plenty of boxes and she is likely to be fighting out the finish. I CAN'T SEE WHO steps up in grade off two solid wins but from the good draw can measure up against these. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Pepperano. Saving Beckoning Light.
