Playfore may lead form Pocketeering. SIR WINSTON missed a nose at Cranbourne and then was plain at Sale as favourite and forgiving. This looks a nice progression and he can come over the top of them. COOL TEST is an improver who didn’t have much luck LS. Gets Meech here peaking and rates well. POCKETEERING has been okay in stronger Maidens but will need a touch of luck pushing on from this gate.
Playfore probably looks to lead, Woodbine Miss, Nackers Magee and Pocketeering should also be forward Nurburgring is the other on pacer. COOL TEST looks to be close to a win after a nice third-up effort at Swan Hill finishing just behind the placings. Drawn nicely and gets every chance to feature. SIR WINSTON was narrowly beaten at Cranbourne two starts ago and if he can repeat that showing he will be in the finish. Disappointed when favourite last time. POCKETEERING faded last time but stuck on well at Sale prior to that so is entitled to another chance. Nurburgring is fitter for two runs back and looks open to improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: The mile will suit Sir Winston and backing to win.
