Flamboyer will push forward again today and take up the lead. SIEGFRIED has come back to racing in very good order this campaign, winning two of his three starts, the most recent coming over this C/D. Drawn to get a nice run again and with the in form Jeff Lloyd to ride he will be hard to beat. Not a big field with a long run to the first turn so they will all get their chance. Out wide Flamboyer and Beckham will press on to set up a decent tempo. SIEGFRIED has won 2/3 this time in work and looks beautifully placed to add to his impressive record. Was held for a run until the furlong pole then exploded late to win in great style over this course and distance last start. Only goes up 0.5kgs here and should strip even fitter at his fourth run of the preparation. The flying FLAMBOYER led but couldn't hold out Siegfried last start, beaten 0.8L on the line. Gets a 1.5kgs weight advantage today and will be tighter in condition after two runs back from a let up. Probable leader again and will take some running down. CYLINDER BEACH cannot be overlooked despite resuming from an eight week let up. Has not appeared since honouring the race name with a withering finish to take out the Bernborough Hcp over the mile at Eagle Farm. Yet to miss a place at this trip and is very effective when fresh. JOPA closed hard behind our two top picks last start and will improve today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Looks a race in two, back Siegfried straight out and include Cylinder Beach in quinella.
