Celestial Choice, Back To My Bay and Keep The Vision are contenders for the early lead. The first starter BACK TO MY BAY showed good speed to lead and win a recent Hawkesbury barrier trial in promising fashion. Gate one will be a big advantage on debut. Biggest field of the day and although there are no genuine speedsters engaged it should be a keenly run affair. CRISTALLO ROSSO showed sudden improvement last start, possibly aided by a couple of gear changes, when she charged home to grab second over this distance at Scone. Was only second up that day so has further scope for improvement. CELESTIAL CHOICE is a genuine mare who always puts herself in the picture. Stepped up sharply in distance to the 1300m at Canberra last start and was brave in defeat, going under by 1.5L after racing outside the leader. Mixing her distances but won't mind this shorter trip today. The 5YO Strategic mare BACK TO MY BAY is an interesting debutant. Scored a soft trial win at Hawkesbury recently which showed she is above average. Drawn the fence so will get all the favours in the run. Watch the betting closely. COSTA DORADO is capable of running well while fresh but needs luck from the wide gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow any money for the debutante Back To My Bay.
