Claradale Lass should lead and dictate. ZABLITZ races fresh here. She has placed the four from eight including one at this track. Needs luck from the draw but has superior form and the one to beat. QUIANO QUEEN also resumes. Has performed under these conditions in the past and must be respected. STONE COLD next in line. There will be no loafing here over the short course with Claradale Lass the probable leader in a high pressure race. ZABLITZ is first up from a four-month break that followed a promising prep in the Summer months. Among her efforts including a desperately close 2nd over 1300m at this course last November when resuming. This is definitely short of her best but with the pace on up front she could swoop and win. QUIANO QUEEN is a handy sprinter resuming. Went close when first up over 900m at Queanbeyan last prep but didn't really go on with it after that. Races best at the start of her preps so keep her in the forefront of calculations. Despite being a 2yo against older horses, this race looks suitable for STONE COLD. Worked home purposefully into 4th place at Nowra recently over 1000m when lining up for just the second time. Better suited on firmer footing today and is one to watch for late in the piece. DANCE HARDER SON will be working home and is one for trifecta punters. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zablitz straight out.
