Good early speed expected up front. AGAPANTHA resumes after a two start maiden campaign where he placed on both occasions. The gelding has been given time to mature since and the son of Clang can certainly hit the ground running first up in this field. SILK SHEETS has placed in seven of her ten career outings to date. The mare has been knocking on the door for some time. She is capable of breaking through here. There aren't many winning hopes in this race. SILK SHEETS just keeps finding one better in her races. She goes forward but has been run down. She just needs some fortune in the first half of the race to be competitive. FUZZY MELON got knocked down at the start at Ipswich and that was probably game over. He has been backed in some recent starts. AGAPANTHA battled well both times to the track. He should get a lovely run all the way here. Would have loved some rain on the track. STEPS FOR PARIS gets the blinkers back on. Must watch the first starters. SUGGESTED PLAY: Win bet Agapantha. He showed promise last campaign.
