Tip Top and Hypnotist will race handy. TIP TOP did a few things wrong placing FU and then delivered a nice Maiden win at Gosford overcoming some trouble. He’s a well-bred improver who clearly rates to win again. HYPNOTIST is an interesting runner. Resumes for Team Snowden off the Maiden win here and will be improved for the break. Is bred for speed and to be good and has trialled up. MARROCK will sit handy and has some claims backing trip. Hypnotist from a wide gate will cross to lead this small lineup at a genuine clip. Lightly raced 4yo TIP TOP broke his maiden status last start at just his third outing, stalking the leader into the straight before coming away on the line over 1100m at Gosford. Continues to improve with each run and getting up in distance now is a positive. HYPNOTIST has not raced since saluting narrowly on debut over 1350m at this circuit back in February. Went nicely at a recent trial so looks ready to run. MARROCK showed pace but tired in the straight to finish 4th over 1400m at Kembla recently. Returned good figures when 3rd on a soft track at Goulburn the start before. Genuine galloper with definite claims. WEEKEND AFFAIR looks the other hope. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Tip Top and saving Hypnotist the quinella.
