Yarrawa Boy and Sonic Syd look your pacesetters. They commence on a gentle bend that continues all the way to the home corner so those drawn deep can be caught on a limb. Yarawa Boy probably leads from Sonic Sid at an even tempo. TURF TAPPER did enough when resuming last start to suggest he is up for this. Raced handy but wide and chased home a short-priced favourite over 1300m at Bathurst in a commendable return from a 20 week break. Scored a soft win when second up last prep so significant improvement is expected today. SHE EXCITES caused a boilover last start when she came from next to last at massive odds and unleashed a powerful finish to win over 1400m at Mudgee. Was first up from a ten week let up that day for a new stable so will strip fitter for this. Lightly raced mare with scope for improvement. SYLVAN JESTER just failed to run out the 1800m at Gilgandra last start, missing a place narrowly after sitting outside the leader. Rated well when runner up at this trip the start before. Still a maiden but can figure prominently. KADOTA has place claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Turf Tapper.
