A field of 12 faces the starter in this year's renewal of the Group 2 Sweet Embrace Stakes with a number of promising fillies set to line up. Speed anticipated from Artic Angel, Teaspoon, Songlike and Shudabeen. TEASPOON fought hard to win the Widden Stakes last start and looks to set a solid benchmark racing on the fresh side (28 days). Rates clear on her last start win and with Bowman sticking aboard she shapes as one of the hardest to beat. Shudabeen, Arctic Angel and Teaspoon will all be prominent and responsible for a solid early tempo. TEASPOON will be looking to maintain her unbeaten record after resuming first up by making all in the Group 3 Widden Stakes. She will be fitter and is drawn to find the front with relative ease from barrier 5. EXCEEDS surprised a few when winning at this course two back before closing well for a second in the Lonhro Plate behind Veranillo. Form out of that race has since held up through the winner. ARCTIC ANGEL placed on resuming in the Blue Diamond Prelude. Her maiden campaign last year was also strong and ended in a stakes victory. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with the unbeaten Teaspoon.
