Iga Burton Stores Euroa (Bm64) 1221m

Track: GOOD 4   Rain Thunder   Rail: Out 5m Entire Circuit. (Pent: 5.18).

Quarck has the speed to use barrier one and he can lead the small field around at his own tempo. The speedy Quarck leads from Spearhead at a very genuine clip. The tempo looks to set the race up beautifully for BAY HARMONY who will be peaking today at her third run back from a spell. Fair effort first up at Benalla then loomed to win over 1170m at Wangaratta last start only to wilt in the final stages and finish a close third. Has a few key gear changes today so look for the improvement required to take this out. SPEARHEAD wasn't far away first up over this trip then led but couldn't finish the race off when unplaced at Bendigo last time out over 1300m. Suited coming back to this trip and the engagement of Oliver is a plus. ORVASSA was a strong winner first up over 1000m at Mornington but has since been a little disappointing. Comes here off a 45 day let up and a recent sound trial performance. Comes into calculations as he goes best when fresh. ANGEL EIGHT and QUARCK were both very good when resuming last start and can be expected to further improve today in a very competitive race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Bay Harmony.
