Advocacy can lead with Megawatt thereabouts also. Barriers will play little role in a field of this size over 2100m. I'm Away and Betterthanyouthink will be in the leading group but the pace looks moderate only. I'M AWAY settled handy and closed the race off nicely when 2nd over 1800m in open company at Bathurst last start. Talented middle distance performer who races well here and should be spot on today at his fourth run back from a spell. BETTERTHANYOUTHINK took a sit last start and was a shade too strong in the run home over 1800m at Bathurst. Ran more than a second quicker than the top pick on the same day which is significant. Has a poor strike rate overall but has never raced better so can go back-to-back. MEGAWATT has been freshened up since finishing runner up in the 3000m marathon at Bathurst four weeks ago. Form prior to that around the provincials was just fair but in this company the mare will be tough to beat. SAMIKOSHO gave Betterthanyouthink a real race last start and gets a nice weight swing today so do not leave him out. BETTERTHANYOUTHINK with winning form must be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: I'm Away in this.
