Carlingford. Mirimbah and BONNEY have all shown early speed in their races. A race with some debutants and keep a close eye on the market. BONNEY draws out and will cross to the speed and gets the blinkers first time. Just got pipped 3U as a hot favourite off two near misses and can go one better with a touch of luck.
A reasonably good run until they commence the swing for home, with inside gates afforded just a slight advantage. Speed to burn on offer here with Carlingford, Mirimbah, Bonney and Ruby Lil all capable of leading. BONNEY for the Freedman camp has been expensive for punters in her three starts to date, but with blinkers going on today can take the next step. Raced close and battled on well when runner up over 1106m at Moe last start. Placed over this trip on debut and with the addition of the gear is sure to go quick and be prominent for a long way. GASWORX was excellent first up over this distance at Seymour, charging home late to miss by the barest margin. May be suited over more ground now but with a hot pace assured will be getting home powerfully again. CLUB TROPICANA missed the start then flashed home to grab 2nd when resuming over 1200m at Pakenham two starts back. Didn't measure up in town last time out but gets her chance back to this company. CARLINGFORD raced in better company last prep and is a chance here while fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Looking to work bets around Bonney and Gasworks.
