Speed anticipated from Hot Date, Madame Jamai, Caramac and Big Kahuna. This field has good pace and some powerful surgers but also an incredible weight range that defies belief from 66kg down to 54kg (or a 12kg spread on paper). MADAME JAMAI can win this fresh up after a 4kg claim. Twice trialled to get ready and can help break this current rut of disappointment for Team Te Akau where the tangerine is looking anything but a winner of late. MARGARITA MOVER a trifecta and first four must with a senior rider on at 54kg. SPRINGWATER is eachway in this and also importantly gets a senior rider atop. Still Waters a trifecta and first four chance. Caramac even after a claim has a staggering 64kg to carry and is 5yo mare. She is down just one grade today on last start. Lethal fresh up but this is serious pudding for a female galloper that has no Stakes wins or placings. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prepared to give Margarita Mover another chance.
