Military Academy looks the likely leader in the opener. EPIC RANT finished third to Veranillo on debut last Spring. Immediately sent for a spell and recent trials suggest he has matured up nicely as a three year old. Made to find the line in the latest of those and looks ready to run a bold race with Avdulla sticking. BALEARIC has been freshened and trialled well leading into this. Two starts at the Provincials have been solid but back in trip with the Blinkers on are pluses. STAR OF AFRICA could be the best horse given his trials. He makes his debut and while lacking race fitness/experience the stable sure know how to train a juvenile. NOVEMBER MAN and MY ZEBRINKA weren't hopeless on debut and shape as improvers at double figure quotes. EPIC RANT is the probable leader for Waterhouse/Bott resuming from a long layoff. Showed enough on debut back in November last year to suggest he can take this out. Settled midfield in a small field over this distance at Rosehill that day and found the line well to pick up 3rd prize. Trialling well in blinkers and in midweek company is set for a successful return. BALEARIC has been freshened up since closing well to finish runner up over 1350m at Wyong 47 days ago. Will be prominent with blinkers on for the first time. The Snowdens' More Than Ready debutante STAR OF AFRICA is going great guns at the trials and looks a ready-made racehorse.
