Over the staying trip so they will hack along for a while. Not much pace in this staying event to open the card. MISHANI SCOUT could potentially cross and lead and on present form he looks the clear top pick. Made it two wins from his last three when a comfortable victor over 2215m at this track last start in similar company to this. Still gets in okay at the weights and continues to improve as the distances get longer. KOBI CREEK turned in a much better run last start when third up from a break. Settled handy to the speed that day over 1800m at Gold Coast and found the line well to finish 3rd under 59kgs. Placed at his only start over this trip so further improvement can be expected. COASTAL GEM took up the running last start in a new role for her and she boxed on gamely to finish runner up behind our top selection. Meets him 2kgs better for a 1.3L defeat so is sure to make it interesting. ANSWERED is an honest type with each way claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Easy to stick with Mishani Scout.
