Rockmeartie will cross with Modern Dane and Shaanxi has early speed also. EVER THE DREAM has placed both runs in and missed a nose the latest after a slow off. Hit the line and should sit handier and break through. L'AMOUR DE MA VIE placed on debut and then disappointed as a hot favourite.
Around 300m to the first turn so a good gate is of some assistance. Osos Amigos drawn close will boot forward with Rockmeartie and Modern Dane out wide crossing over to apply pressure. EVER THE DREAM gets the run of the race tucked in behind the speed and after two fine runs to kick off this prep looks ready to salute. Placed first up at Pakenham over 1400m then had very little luck in running before charging home to grab 2nd over 1411m at Sale recently. The step up in trip now looks ideal. ROCKMEARTIE led but found one better over 1450m at Kyneton last start when second up from a 45 day freshen. Will be spot on for this assignment. Goes fast so might lead and will take some running down on this tight circuit. OSOS AMIGOS raced handy before hitting the line hard to just miss over 1400m at Sale on debut recently. Will derive great benefit from that experience and the extra 100m today is an advantage. L'AMOUR DE MA VIE is progressing nicely for DK Weir and looks sure to be prominent. SUGGESTED PLAY: Standing Ever The Dream in quinellas. Honest and rates well.
