Map is very speculative having seen just two of these. Can expect to see Zhao Zi Long handy with the blinkers on. A hard race to map with so many first starters, but the pace is sure to be on from the outset. The race experience of CEE YA could prove invaluable. Debuted over 1000m at Pakenham recently where he jumped well and held a position to the corner. From there he was inconvenienced a couple of times but battled on okay to finish fourth. Will definitely appreciate the extra trip today. Shrapnel colt KID FLASH is one to watch on debut for the Tony McEvoy camp. Has trialled twice leading into this, including a strong win recently at Strathalbyn. The stable does well with the juveniles so keep close tabs on this fellow in the betting. ZHOU ZI LONG is another first starter who has impressed at the trials. This son of Snitzel was beaten just half a length at Cranbourne recently in an encouraging effort for trainer Mick Price. The blinkers go straight on here which is a positive sign that the stable means business.RITORNO did little on debut in Listed company but will find this much easier. Debutant ESHTIRAAK for the Lindsay Park/Damien Oliver combo bears close attention. SUGGESTED PLAY: Something on Kid Flash for the hot yard.
