Keeneland Gimcrack Stakes 1000m Track: GOOD 4 Clear Rail: Out 3m Entire Circuit. (Pent: 5.01). |

Interesting race to kick off the day's proceedings with nine fillies set to line up in this year's renewal of Gimcrack Stakes. Speed anticipated from Chain Of Fools, Didn't Mention It, Mystic Empire, Kanga's Eve. It was hard not to be impressed by JORDA's trial at Randwick recording slick time in what appeared a hand canter. Drawn to receive all the favours and with McDonald aboard she should prove hard to beat. They will go quick in this, no doubt about it. No disclosed raceday form so a watch of both betting and parade rings is essential. A few of these have trialled extremely well, in particular JORDA. The filly won her 850m trial heat with plenty up her sleeve and ran time in the process. CHAIN OF FOOLS won her heat on the same day by 7.3 lengths albeit in slightly slower time. Barrier 9 isn't ideal for her debut however if she doesn't get lost from the outside alley, the daughter of More Than Ready will definitely be in the hunt. GREATER GOOD won her trial heat in better time than Chain Of Fools although was working that extra bit harder. She looks the best of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Very keen on Jorda.
